Print Quality & Handling
Fine-Art Prints
The archival, fine-art pigment prints I offer are of extremely high-quality and will last for many decades. These high-resolution prints are created using ultra-high-quality pigments instead of ink. This results in a more luminous print as the pigment sits on the surface of the paper instead of being absorbed into it as with standard inks and printing techniques.
The prints are printed at one of the world's best printers, on 100%-cotton, matte-finish, fine-art paper with a weight of 310 gsm.
Each fine-art print is individually hand signed and numbered.
Handling Your Fine-Art Print
Fine-art prints are best handled by professional framers. I recommend archival framing your print with a box frame under UV protected glass or acrylic, which will give maximum protection.
Matte-finish pigment prints are scuff and ding sensitive. I recommend unpacking the print at the framer. Try to physically handle the print as little as possible and, when you do, always make sure your hands are clean and that you support the print fully, as the paper can pick up dirt or crease. Try to avoid leaving the print rolled for any length of time.
